I just Bought and Downloaded this app…knowing that its a PRO VERSION????? ITS NOT… infact when you go directly to their website. They will charge you for $19.99ish Pro ADDITIONAL?? Which falls like a "swindling" to me actually??? You can download the FREE version. Theres no diffrence with this hey. WHERE DID MY $11.99 go??? (MAC APP) Speaking of such i spent 22 ours just to scan that 30bucks APP CARD… tried it in my iPHONE?? and it went thru…HMMM lots of pirates here hey
This will not download videos from youtube or streams from Facebook which have pretty much dominated the video / streaming space. Other than those sights not sure what this is good for.

If you want a media player with great support for multiple video formats get VLC. It’s free and even supports obscure stuff like OGG Video Format
Most apps will let you install on any Mac you own. I personally own two Macs and they want another 9 dollars to install on a second Mac which defeats the idea of why I use the app store with my apple ID in the first place. Will not let you restore purchase and keep asking me to go “pro” even after I took it off my other machine. They have bugs to work out and shoul be upfront about the continued UPSELL. It’s an ok video player, but so are others out there. Also any website with decent content is not allowed due to what they term "possible copyright violations.” Move on from this app

There is a version 6 ready now.
The app can play almost all format video files without the need for additional decoder. Full-screen,edit subtitles,create playlists,watch online videos ect, in all the features, I feel the most unique is that Open URL,it allows me to easily watch online videos and no ads.
This is by far the best video player in the app store. It Plays my MKV files smoothly with no problem, Even when scrubbing through the video. Elmedia Player Go is top notch.
Does not support Subtitle!!
great media player but, it does not support reading subtitle.. weird.. never seen a media player that does not supprot subtitles

Super easy to use. I needed to download some videos and Elmedia was fast and convenient. Note that it appears you can no longer download Youtube videos. I did not have any trouble with downloading from other sites though.
Very powerful and simple media player. Great clean design and easy to use. This media player support various video and audio formats so you don’t need to worry about it. You can also adjust speed by video playback, flip or rotate image, edit subtitles and there are many other cool features. I’m really happy with this app. This app can easily play large video files.
The last update to VLC broke the long time go to video app. I’ve been looking for a new player for months. Elmedia player fills the need for a reliable and versital Mac video player quite nicely. Elmedia isn’t an exact copy of VLC but for the average to mid-advanced user the differences are virtually unnoticeable. Elmedia is now my GO-TO video player and I’m more than happy with it.
This player is a very good player in Mac! It is simple, light, fast and easy to use! Moreover, it supports many formats, this is very good! Congratulations! I recommend this app, Elmedia Player Go!
The two most important features I am looking for in a video player app are: a) play videos of all formats, especially mp4 files, smoothly without lagging, and b) download online videos so that I can watch again and again without wasting data. And I am more than happy to see this app meets both my needs.
